Symbolism & Structure

The Khue hexagram has the Lower trigram as Doai (Trach/Smoothness/Joy), the Upper trigram is Ly (Fire/Clearness/Hot temper). The fire burned toward the sky, the lagoon water flowed to the ground, these two forces grew farther and farther apart. The word 'Khue' means looking at each other, not looking straight. This is a statue of misunderstanding and separation between friends, associates or relatives.

Philosophy & Virtues

The philosophy of the Khue hexagram teaches: 'Khue, small things are auspicious'. While everyone is disagreeing, don't seek big things. However, although everything in the universe is different, it still operates in the same way (Heaven and Earth are different, but the work of creation is the same). The gentleman who meets the Khue hexagram must be 'universal' - respect differences, seek harmony in small things. Don't force others to think like you, use wisdom (Ly) to understand and happiness (Doai) to resolve.

Line by Line Analysis

1st Line

Hao So Cuu: 'Regret, bury the horse and cart, and surrender yourself. Ants are evil, without mercy'. Regret disappears. If you lose your horse, don't chase it, it will return on its own. It's okay to meet bad people. It means that when a conflict first starts, just take it easy, don't react too strongly, everything will get back on track.

2nd Line

Hao Cuu Nhi: 'Enlightenment to the master of witchcraft, without recourse'. Met the lord in a narrow alley. Even though he didn't get the right reputation, he achieved his goal. An unexpected meeting resolves the conflict.

3rd Line

Hao Luc Tam: 'Antiques are left behind, strange ox weather, strange people are jealous. There is no common existence'. Seeing the car being pulled backwards, the buffalo being stopped, people having their hair cut off and their noses cut off. The situation was extremely deadlocked and humiliating. But if you persevere until the end, the results will still be fine.

4th Line

Hao Cuu Tu: 'Miss Khue, met Nguyen Husband, met husband, Le Vo Cuu'. Lonely in the midst of division, meeting a sincere good friend. Thanks to mutual trust, we can overcome dangerous situations.

5th Line

Hao Luc Ngu: 'Regret and ruin, decide to eat and drink, leave the river'. Regret disappears. Relatives bite the meat together (in unison). Moving forward will bring good luck and conflicts will be resolved from within.

6th Line

Hao Thuong Cuu: 'Miss Khue, condolences to my wife, the farthest ghost... a thief and a kisser'. Extreme loneliness, seeing a muddy pig, seeing a car full of demons (due to excessive suspicion). But when he realized that it was not an enemy but a person who came to pray for love, after the rain all doubts disappeared. Great sand.

General Discussion

The Khue hexagram reminds: Most conflicts come from our own doubts and illusions (dragon 6). When trust returns, conflicts will disappear.
