I Ching Interpretation

Symbolism & Structure

The Tiem hexagram has the Lower trigram as Can (Son/Nghghiep), the Upper trigram as Ton (Phong/Wood/Nhuan). Image of a tree (Wood) growing on a mountain (Son). A tree cannot grow fast in a day, it needs time to take root in mountain rocks to withstand storms and winds. The combination of restlessness (Can) and gentleness (Ton) creates an undisturbed, very harmonious advancement.

Philosophy & Virtues

The philosophy of the Salon hexagram teaches: 'Shop, women return to good fortune, gain virginity'. Promotion in the right order is like a daughter going to her husband's house (having to go through the steps of courtship, engagement, and wedding), if done properly, it will be very auspicious. The gentleman who meets the Tiem hexagram must 'remain virtuous and good in customs' (maintain good conduct to change customs). Nothing is sustainable without accumulation. 'If you want too quickly, you won't be able to achieve it' is the core lesson here.

Line by Line Analysis

1st Line

Hao So Luc: 'Vu can shop, small child's tears, with words, without words'. The pink bird approached the water. When you first start to advance, you often encounter criticism and detractors from petty people. If you keep your direction, there will be no errors.

2nd Line

Hao Luc Nhi: 'Vu ban shop, the food is hoarse and sandy'. The pink bird approached the large rock. There is a solid place to stop, food is full and wine is drunk. This is a promotion that brings stability and prosperity.

3rd Line

Hao Cuu Tam: 'In the shop of vu Luc, the husband cannot conquer, the father cannot resist, and he is fierce; profit language stage'. The pink bird moves upland (wrong environment). The husband went to war and did not return, and the pregnant wife could not take care of him. Warning that moving forward too quickly or in the wrong position will lead to loss.

4th Line

Hao Luc Tu: 'Vu Moc shop, or extremely fertile, without burden'. The pink bird moved up the tree and found a flat branch to perch on. Although the tree is not the pink bird's habitat, thanks to adapting and finding a safe place to stand, there is no fault.

5th Line

Hao Cuu Ngu: 'The Vu Lang shop, the three years and three years are not built, the end of the road wins, good luck'. The pink bird advanced to the high mound. The couple have been separated for three years without children, but in the end loyalty will win, achieving a perfect result. Great sand.

6th Line

Hao Thuong Cuu: 'Vu Luc shop, Ky Vu can be used for suspicion, sand'. The pink bird moves to the blue clouds (not dry land). Falling bird feathers can be used as decorations in rituals. This is the promotion to reach a noble realm, setting an example for life.
