I Ching Interpretation

Symbolism & Structure

The Thuan Ton hexagram includes Upper and Lower trigrams, both of which are Ton (Wind/Wind/Wood). Structure: One Yin line is located below two Yang lines. Yin and softness obey Yang and hardness, but that same softness has the ability to penetrate into the most secret places that muscle strength cannot. The wind does not have a fixed shape, it adapts to all terrain but can blow away even rocks.

Philosophy & Virtues

The philosophy of the Ton hexagram teaches: 'Ton, the little hanh, gain benefits from wandering around, benefit from seeing great people'. Obedience only brings small prosperity and requires the guidance of a great person. The gentleman who meets the Ton hexagram must "take action personally" (issue an order and repeat it many times so that the people understand). Ton's power lies in repetition and thoroughness. If you want to change a habit or a system, you cannot use violence but must use a gradual impact like the spring breeze.

Line by Line Analysis

1st Line

Hao So Luc: 'Advancing and retreating, the path of benefiting the people'. Sometimes advancing and retreating, the mind is uncertain. You should stay steadfast like a soldier (dancer) to benefit. Warning for excessive hesitation.

2nd Line

Hao Cuu Nhi: 'The cost is in sifting down, the use of witchcraft is weak, the luck is endless'. Kneel under the bed, use a shaman and a person to pray. Show extreme humility to get to the root cause of a problem or to resolve mistrust. Very good.

3rd Line

Hao Cuu Tam: 'Tan to, cheat'. Being overly submissive, repeatedly submitting without decisiveness. This lack of bravery leads to shame and contempt.

4th Line

Hao Luc Tu: 'Regret, fill the nucleus three-grade'. Regrets disappeared, I hunted three types of animals. Thanks to ingenuity and knowing how to penetrate reality, great results beyond expectations are achieved.

5th Line

Hao Cuu Ngu: 'Trinh sand regrets, there is no disadvantage. There is no common existence'. It's good to keep your integrity, and you'll have no regrets. It may not be good at first, but the end will be perfect. Before changing, you must calculate 3 days, after changing, you must check 3 days. This is leadership prudence.

6th Line

Hao Thuong Cuu: 'Ton is in the lower bed, buried in Ky Tu Phu, Trinh Hung'. He knelt under the bed again, but this time he lost all his money and his personal defense tool (ax). Weakness to the point of losing self-esteem and strength will lead to disaster.

General Discussion

Hexagram Ton reminds: Being obedient is a tactic, not a cowardly nature. The one who knows how to squeeze through a narrow gap is the one who will reach the final destination.

Love & Relationships

Love requires delicate and gentle attention. Don't be too warm or pressured. Silent understanding will make the relationship stronger.

Dau Nam

A year of silent but profound changes. You will advance thanks to your adaptability and cleverness in communication. Wealth comes from small sources that accumulate.

Career & Success

Your position is strengthened by the trust of your superiors. Act as a powerful 'right hand'. Avoid hesitation (moment 1) which causes loss of opportunity.

Wealth & Business

Stable. Money comes from services or small amounts. Focus on accumulation instead of risky investments.

Health & Well-being

Warning about diseases related to the respiratory system (leprosy), rheumatism or sensitive nervous system. Avoid drafty places and keep a calm spirit.

Luu Y Dac Biet

Strategic Insights

Risk Analysis

The biggest risks are 'weakness' (moat 6) and 'hesitation' (moat 3). When obedience turns into lack of stance, you will be trampled on by others and lose your original strength.

Strategy

If you do the opposite (Resolute, direct confrontation): You will encounter a rigid stone wall and hurt yourself. The Ton hexagram teaches that flowing water wears away rocks, wind blows clouds away, you don't need to use force to still achieve your goals.
